Great and Powerful God, how you shine to bring light to the darkest places and spaces. In the deep darkness of the ground, a seed is planted, as in a woman like Mary, who humbly accepted your will, that she gave birth to you. May your light shine in the darkness of this world, this world full of violence, poverty, suffering, and war. With the power of the bright sun overhead, break down the weapons, the hatred, the fear, and free us again. May we be moved by the same power that raised Jesus from the grave and changed the world. Inspire us to seek your Wisdom in all the ways you reveal it to us: in the depth of prayer, in Scripture, Sacrament, and creation. While we seek your radiance, shine in our hearts, that we never forget that we are Yours, the light of the world. AMEN
